about

Dabas koncertzāle: an open-air event that occurs in Latvia every year 2006. Musicians, video artists, sound & lighting designers come together with scientists and educators to feature an element of nature with an array of interactive workstations and a 50-minute musical & video performance piece. The 2013 event was dedicated to ESKER – a long, winding ridge created during the glacial period. The music portrays the strength of the ice and the land movements which drove esker to come into being.
